Hey everyone! We figured we're too "old" for a myspace page and this would be way easier. It seems to be giving me some trouble in trying to figure out how to do it so bear with me as I work out the kinks. Hopefully I can figure out how to add pictures as that's really what this is going to be all about....the kids of course!!
Taylor is almost 10, can you believe that??? She is just about the coolest kid we've ever seen. She is me in the looks and build dept., but no doubt DJ in the personality dept. She is funny, beautiful, a leader, has tons of common sense and lets most things roll off her back. When it comes to fashion and style....stay out of her way and let her do her thing. I gave up on her when she was 3 with trying to "style" her!! She makes us smile everyday and people just love to be around her. She is awesome and such a great example for Maddie....speaking of...
Maddie...oh my!! My little baby is now the middle child, well almost, sniff, sniff. She is taking hold of that title and running with it! She's 7 going on 16! The child is ME and I would like to officially like to apologize to my parents, siblings and anyone who tried to tell me what to do at anytime in my adolescence. She is sensitive beyond words, loves to have ALL the attention, so funny she brings tears to our eyes and is gorgeous in every sense of the word!! She is so smart and loves to curl up to just about anyone as long as they are willing to give her most of the room. She's going to be an amazing big sister as she really has that caring, nurturing nature.
And that brings us to Mr. Max. He's due in 6 weeks and we can't wait to meet him!!! Will he have Maddie's eyes? Taylor's hair color? My or DJ's goofy nose? Words can't even describe how excited we are!!!! Hoping he wants to come out in 4 weeks rather than 6!! We're ready for him!!!
DJ and I are good and trying to enjoy as many lunch dates as possible before Max gets here. It's been so nice having time for us these past 2 years while the girls have been in school. We feel well rested and ready for a new adventure with a BOY!!! He promises to get up in the middle of the night this time around....we'll see about that!! He can't use a boat, a commute or duty as an excuse this time!! HA!!
So, that's the latest and wish me luck with this blog thing!! I feel old!!!
